My work

Whilst spending most of her time writing fictional short stories about fantasy worlds or crime thrillers, Leora had found passion in telling stories about her own experiences, as well as speaking up for people who may not always be able to speak for themselves.

Speaking To Real Experiences

Leora's interest in creative non-fiction stems from her hopes to tell her own story to the world. Growing up bisexual in a single-parent household whilst attending thirteen years at an all-girls private school, she has much more to divulge to her readers than a couple of high school stories. Leora simultaneously uses her own life experiences to elevate her fiction writing, by telling stories and broaching topics that are not often enough spoken about in the writing industry. With techniques ranging from screenwriting to journalism, Leora has been able to expand her experience, skills and capabilities to better prepare her for the industry she will work in.

Creativity (Fiction)

Currently working on her first novel-size creative work, Leora is diving into the world of Dissasosiative Identity Disorder and psychology. Broaching topics and ideas that reader's are yet to come across in fiction, Leora uses this opportunity to express her stories to the world of readers.

The power of authenticity (Non-Fiction)

Leora's interest in journalism has helped her to express importance about topics that she feels passionate about. Leora's article on Gender Bias and ADHD is an example of how she brings her own personal experiences out in her writing. The topic allowed for her to speak about real-world issues that related tp herself, whilst dveloping her non-fiction writing skiils.
